Hull Times on SporTobin: "As a longtime outfitter and keynote speaker at three-day breast cancer walks across the country, Lori Tobin, owner of SporTobin Athletic Apparel of Hull, has developed new ways to support breast cancer research and education. Lori developed a "pink ribbon campaign" by embroidering the universally known pink ribbon on many products in her clothing line. She also gives the three-day walkers, volunteers and organizations a 20 percent discount on all purchases. In addition to Tobin's travels around the country and her lectures on safe, effective ways to manage the three-day-walk, SporTobin has donated $1,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. "My love for running and fitness led me to created attractive, quality, and functional athletic wear in 1991. After meeting some walkers at a three-day breast cancer walk a few years ago, and hearing their very personal and touching stories, my passion for this cause was born," Tobin said. |
